Flashback Stage Plot and Tech

This is a live view. During harmony, the banjo player moves to the center mic, and the guitar player steps to his left (stage left). The main banjo instrument mic is over to the right side of this photo out of view. This photo will help give you an idea. Only the banjo player and guitar player change positions during harmony.

STAGE TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR FLASHBACK

MUSICIANS
Don Rigsby: Mandolin, Fiddle and Vocals
Richard Bennett: Guitar and Vocals
Stuart Wyrick: Banjo and Vocals
Curt Chapman: Acoustic Upright Bass

REQUIREMENTS:
(4) Instrument mics on boom stands. Condenser mics preferred.
(3) Vocal mics on boom stands. Condenser mics preferred.

Minimum of (3) monitors at front of stage, and additional monitor in the rear for bass player.  Preference is (4) monitors on the front, but will accept 3 on smaller stages.

Bass player will bring his own amplifier, but will require a direct input (DI) line

Band members will place and adjust microphones to the preferred positioning that is desired during sound check.

Band prefers single monitor mix that is same as house mix. Band and sounds techs will talk about settings during sound check as to the desired levels.

NOTICE: ONCE SOUND CHECK IS COMPLETE, SOUND ENGINEER WILL MAKE NO FURTHER ADJUSTMENTS TO THE SOUND HOUSE OF MONITOR MIX WITHOUT BAND CONSENT OTHER THAN TO CONTROL FEEDBACK. NO "RIDING" GAINS ON SOLOS, ET.C THE BAND WILL MIX SELF BY CONTROLLING THEIR OWN PERSONAL DISTANCE BETWEEN MICS FOR SOLOS, BACKUPS, ETC.  BASICALLY ONCE SOUND CHECK IS COMPLETE AND BAND AGREES...PLEASE LEAVE IT ALONE
