Writes every chart and runs the rehearsals. If a song needs to drop a key for the room, Desmond makes the call on the spot.

Bass & Vocals
Holds the whole thing down and sings the harmonies you feel more than hear. Also the person who answers your emails.

Drums
The reason the dance floor fills. Plays weddings and corporate galas with the same pocket he brought from the Houston club circuit.

Nine years in the section. Her solo on the last song of the night is the thing guests quote back to us.

Arranges the horn lines with Desmond and doubles on flugelhorn for the quieter cocktail sets.
On substitutes: we are working musicians, so once or twice a year a player has a conflict or gets sick. When that happens we bring in an Austin sub we have gigged with for years and rehearsed your charts — and we tell you in advance. We will never swap half the band on you without a word, the way agency bookings sometimes do.
